Transition Your Business Cards From Analog to Digital

6798184016_265ed1a4f6_m-150x150So a while back I wrote this article and pondered if business cards were necessary. In the article I stated that business cards need to get digital. Well color me Nostradamus, because there’s an app for that!

It’s called Evercard. You can download it for Andriods or iPhones. This handy app will take a picture of the business card, and then it actually transcribes the information into digital format, so you have all of the contact information filled out. Now granted, sometimes the app is prone to make a few mistakes, but these are easily corrected. Plus it saves the image of that business card in the app, so you can view it to your heart’s content.

But wait, there’s more! You can even take notes on the contact in the app. I’d also recommend taking some notes on the business card itself before you take the pictures (or use an app like Evernote, which I covered here).

So if you’re tired of returning from a business trip and having to sift through the stack of business cards you collected, try out Evernote today! It just might make your life easier.

Until next time,
