Developing Trade Show Traffic

Here’s an idea used at a trade show that turned some heads. The key was using a unique custom made item that would draw attention….

The Objective: A farm equipment manufacturer wanted to call attention to its new tractor during farm shows and exhibits.

The Execution:  A cut-out of the advertiser’s new tractor was printed on cardboard with an adhesive backing. Holes were die cut and two plastic bottle caps resembling tractor tires were inserted. The badges were issued to farmers visiting the advertiser’s exhibit at shows in six states.

The Results:  Over 90 percent of show registrants visited the firm’s exhibit, and rate of sales has been favorable.
